about

2 years since the release of 'Sea Green', 'Cornflower Blue' is the sister record featuring 4 new tracks.

'The River', a song contemporaneous to the album which preceded it, continues the thematic issues address in 'Sea Green', speaking to personal loss and the complex relationships between people.

'Pyotr', a cover of a Bad Books song, concerns Pyotr (Peter) the Great, the Russian leader driven to intense cruelty resulting from an act of infidelity.

'If You Only Knew' and 'Ghost at the Fair' are two rough demos about insecurity and fleeting love respectively that could not quite fit into the original album. They are presented 'as is', recorded quickly on a now defunct piece of equipment in a long-lost apartment in Bath.
